Hannah’s own academic and personal journey has shaped her deep understanding of the writing process, especially when it comes to crafting impactful essays that resonate with admissions committees. She’s taken part in immersive study abroad programs, including a semester in Colombia, where she explored social change in Afro-Colombian communities, and is preparing for another in Granada, Spain, to further hone her Spanish proficiency and global perspective. These experiences have not only enhanced her writing skills but also given her a nuanced understanding of diverse cultural and social issues—insights she uses to guide students in selecting compelling essay topics that reflect both their achievements and their deeper aspirations.

As an intern for high-profile political leaders, including New Jersey Senator Anthony M. Bucco and Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, Hannah honed her skills in research, writing, and communication, drafting memos, constituent letters, and speeches. These professional experiences sharpened her ability to edit and refine written work for clarity, impact, and tone—skills she now applies to help students perfect their college essays.

Hannah’s commitment to excellence is also evident in her extracurricular involvement as a member of Howard University’s Mock Trial Team, where she gained valuable public speaking, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. Her ability to deliver speeches with confidence and precision is reflected in the high-level performance she achieved at the American Mock Trial Association’s American University Regionals, where she won the Witness Award for an Outstanding Performance.
